It’s a 1st chapter so I’m giving it a try but I hate the fact that she’s the only one that has such a huge burden on her shoulders and she’s solely responsible for providing the monetary support for the whole family. They even expect emotional support and act like she’s leaving them for fun. Why is the brother not the one looking for the job? Why is he forcing her to mommy him too? He should do this. They should sell the manor. It doesn’t matter that the kids like it – all they do is whine. They should learn that they need to be less of a burden and the manor is less important than their sister’s wellbeing. She’s so young yet forced into parenting a bunch of kids, paying to patch up the ruins of the manor ( it’s obvious that the parents didn’t care about it – the youngest is a toddler so the death must have been recent but the manor is already in such a condition) and doing a work that servants would do. It pisses me off. Oldest brother- get a job you bum. Someone will look after the children 🙄
