Girl, if you were going to act like that, it would have been better not to have made that contract, that child does not deserve to suffer, that is pure selfishness, it is okay to separate but from the moment you created a life, you are responsible

I like this one… Way more realistic than the fluffy romance stuff… Sometimes it’s justa contract, giving birth doesn’t always make you love the child and even if you do… It probably would be better not to be together if the parent’s relationship is like that. Better for the child not to forcibly be together.
Aish Dehann depends. if the ML is shown as not abusive. yes. trauma may not be a free ticket to hurt other people…but trauma somehow makes a person act weird (everything depends on the situation) people have a bias towards the FL cas its said in her pov…. if we see t in a neautral way…. ud see both parties are at fault
if she experiences an abusive family, now she inherits the same cycle to her child. just don’t get a baby in the first place woman. your trauma its not the free ticket to justify mean/ selfish behavior to others.
He also didn’t do anything to try and understand her. When she very obviously has an abusive relationship with her family. He just kind of glossed past it and dismissed it, instead of trying to unravel why she is the way she is.
I remember this web novel (though I didn’t finish it)
I fear this format won’t do it justice, because the emotions involved are very complicated and subtle.
I do remember being absolutely infuriated by the ex husband. He is the arrogant, handsome, and powerful type, and he took it for granted that she’d just….fall in love with him. Without him doing anything.
Just assumed she would naturally become obsessed with him as his due, and was pretty insulted when she didn’t and followed through with their contract.
His thoughts on her and the baby are pretty glib. Again, he expects she’d jump on the chance to stay and run things for him, because he assumed the baby *he asked for and required* would be enough to ignite all those gushy, girly feelings and “fix” her.
Never mind that he was making her have an unwanted sexual relationship with him for half a decade and she was always told the kid wouldn’t be hers.
He never said he loved her or tried anything to foster love back, just thought it would all conveniently slot together to his advantage.

i wonder if we would support the ml if he did what the fl did with the excuse of trauma.
