As well as potatoe plants are poisonous not the potatoes themselves, unless green potatoes, thats a different matter form this entirely. Flowers can be used for teas, some food decorations etc, butch just needed to look it up.
She probably can’t give him the cure. Many herbs and plants can be poisonous if you handle them wrong. Potato being the best example of that. Sounds silly, but potatoes have killed a lot of people.
