The manhwa skipped a lot of parts based on the novel Ive read. I hope they show Alastair trying to choke or kill Serina. And every after brainwashing, Alastair should be so weak and sick. But the manhwa is diff. Anyways, I hope the translation gets better next time
FYI this is a rant, so you can just ignore it if you’d like: I’m seriously tired of this sort of behaviour. FL should do something about it. I know it would be hard but if you really wanted to be cruel, killing the mother would be an option. It wouldn’t be the first time in history. The amount of mental damage done to this guy makes me icky, they even went as far as to call him a dog right INFRONT of him.. And what’s with all the girls and wanting to run away after oh supossedly solving the problem, It doesn’t work like that. Many novels state they’ve read stuff like people going into novels, shouldn’t they know how it turns out if you get close to the ML? I’m sorry but seeing someone get mentally tortured and having another person thinking that’s okay when they come from a modern world is a bit twisted. 20 is also pretty young meaning they’d be a Gen Z person i’m pretty sure. So in the younger generation and know all about this sort of toxic stuff and deciding if it meant death in the end they’d do it, it’s just.. why? Yes i’m ranting about a fictional character, because this sort of mindset bothers me. Maybe i should be more on the comedy section but yeah. You could also say that i didn’t need to read this if it bothered me so much but, y’know i didn’t think it would bother me as much as it did but it ended up doing so. So just take this as an opinion and a view (or more so of a rant). This isn’t hate. Just my own view.
This reminds me of “The way to protect the female lead’s older brother also called Roxanne” which is a MUST read. Her family is FUCKED UP, like FUCKED UP. Worst than this family. This also remind me of “I met the male lead in prison” by how loyal to ml is to the girl.
