I’m obviously being hypercritical bc I LOVE everything (even though it’s kinda a rip off of all kinds of famous cooking shows + stories AHAHAHAHA) but I kinda wish the artist could think of better plating. The clothes are beautiful, the people beautiful, the architecture beautiful. But the entire story mainly revolves around the dishes being made and they’re very plain & basic looking platings. So that’s my input.
Oh and one more thing- as a makeup artist & former art student I can’t help noticing the “technical” aspect of drawing a face um…please separate the eyes to align with the nose properly per art standards. Unless ofc that’s the character design of someone. But everyone? Makes my eyes cross.

Yes it’s not quite the right way to judge, but it isn’t wrong either. A major portion of food is presentation. If something doesn’t look good it will ruin your appetite for it. It isn’t completely out of the realm of belief that the judges would judge based on appearance as well.
