My guess is that she wrote the og story about charne and she didn’t want to end it so the story changed genres (it was said in first chapter) and after her death in reality she thought that she didn’t deserve to become charne so she became aileen and gaslighted herself that she can’t be loved hence the abuse and discrimination she experienced before she came to etam family.
