Is this supposed to be ambiguous? We literally see that she died pregnant with him holding her hand and calling her a liar because their child wasn’t born like she said it would be. How did she survive and end up being raised as a branch member? No idea. Probably dragon magic bs
So base off what I read so far in the LN, she died before she was able to give birth to Aryen.
But becuz Aryen is a dragon she was able to survive. ( I’m sure later in the LN it will explain how she was born and given to the “fake father” but I haven’t gotten that far. )
But the reason why their blood exploded is becuz she is still alive in her OG world and just in a coma of sorts.
In the next chapter I hope it shows when she returns back to her OG world and she comes to the realization that she has to die there in order to be fully “alive” in the current one she’s in.
But once she goes back to her OG world you see a bit more of her past and the horrible way her “family” treated her.
I for one don’t blame her for wanting to stay on the world where she is loved.
Her “family” is trash.
There’s a lot more that is said to happen which explains what happen with her birth in the LN. I just reach the chapter where they find the guy that might’ve had something to do with how she came to be with the “fake father”.
To which I’ll hold off on making another spoiler once I read those chapters.
Are we not going to question what happened in between? Like after she gave birth the baby did he see her? Or was told she didn’t make it. Why was she living at the estate still? Who took her and kept her at the home she took her from? And why have they done nothing to stop them from meeting and becoming a family?

there is no “in between”, she died before giving birth and was buried just like that. That’s what dad meant by “it defies the reason”
