Ok I think I know why she is in prison. Hear me out. I think this Chassier or whatever his name is put her there so he could do all the things he needed to do in order to take power from their father without risking her. Like the prison is far away from the capital and they treat her the same as she was living outside. And this place, is the safest place in the entire country because no one cares about prisoners during a coup. Except for the crazy followers that just did their demonstrations. But as soon as the brother solidify his power, he’ll take her out.
