Haven’t read yet. From the title, I would want to. After reading the description, I’ve become skeptical. Then based on the cover, I don’t think I want to continue. I’m not fond of stories where they show budding romance between children. I’ll be back when there are more chapters. Please, someone, reply to me if it’s worth the read. (Asking as an animal lover and cat rescuer) Thank you.

Meh, so-so. The romance isn’t as strong as the summary+cover suggests. It leans more on the “demi-humans are not people” and the first chapter really drives it home, when one had to kidnap the FL to save the demi-children. The ML/Prince is not likable (jerk, obsessive, arrogant, etc), but at least there wasn’t anything like “kissing” and such… if there were, I’ve would have stopped reading as well.
Anyway, I’ll slam the “give it a try, but don’t expect too much” label on it. 3,5/5

Also regarding the title of “illegal veterinary”… it’s so secret that nobody knows about it… except the prince, her family, her maids, her demi-friend/guard, her twin knights, etc… the only reason, why the “illegal” word is needed, was due to the main topic of “demis are not people”.
