I’m on my second run through this time and I realize Phillip is a really selfish guy. He was originally in love with Blondina, but his judgement was clouded by jealousy. If he had truly loved Blondina, then he would’ve considered what makes her happiest and accepted a graceful defeat instead of getting his britches in a bunch and holding a grudge.
