   TL;DR: Blatantly and shamelessly copies other media, And doesn’t bring enough to the table to overlook that. There’s other trash out there that at least has some originality and uniqueness.

   Longer, ‘ware spoilers up to chapter 20: So, I made it to chapter 20 before I just couldn’t read another panel. The copying of other media is completely shameless. The MC’s got short black hair and strongly resembles Sung Jin-Woo from Solo Leveling. I gave that a pass initially because ‘short black haired MC’ is pretty tropey. But, That pass got burnt to cinders when the MC’s eye glowed purple for…literally no reason? It just happens whenever the artist feels like instead of being tied to any specific power. In chapter 19, The MC crafts a super awesome super weapon perfectly fit for him- It’s literally the umbrella from King’s Avatar, shape changing and everything. Even the design has some VERY strong similarities (About as strong as the similarity to Sung Jin-Woo.)

   But wait, it gets better. It shamelessly copies World of Warcraft over and over. Dungeon names like the dead mines, wailing caverns, black fathom deeps, etc. The MC challenges Black Fathom Deeps and the ensuing dungeon had me having flashbacks to leveling my first character in WoW; It even ended in fighting Aku’mai, literally named Aku’mai, a three headed serpent beast. 1:1 copy of basically the entire thing from the crab miniboss to the final boss, Except glazed over very poorly.

   And Oh, My GOD, The GLAZING. There is no sense of tension or risk or concern ever at any point. A secret boss is mentioned and hyped up, then killed in like 3 panels. Every face slapping event ends in like 3 panels, All of the challenging human foes except one basically about-face in behavior in an instant, The longest held chip on a shoulder is from a senior who after getting beat up tries to get a bigger senior to beat up the MC; That takes place over like 8 chapters, but only dedicates like 10 panels to it in total, and is resolved with basically no tension or risk or concern that the MC might be in trouble. And it jumps from place to place to place not letting you really get a sense about anything or get to figure out what this world even is, meanwhile over-telling instead of simply showing at every opportunity.

   There’s surely more I could rant about, And things I didn’t even notice were copied (or simply didn’t mention), But I’ve spent enough on this trash. I don’t know why it was marked 4.1 before my own review of 1.0, but, It ain’t anything over a 1.5, MAYBE a 2 if you’re generous. Even if you like trash, Save your time and spend it on some other trash stuff that has some originality and unique flavor to it.

   So good, the character is a little egocentric sometimes but it also makes his personality

   The art could be better, but it seems really interesting so far, and its only been 2 chapters
