Wait hold on! Literally think I understood part of it right after. Obviously the lady he saw die was a clay doll so it only makes sense that he probably met and learned of some of her situation from her possessing a doll. I’m going to assume he never said anything because the only reason he existed was to serve her and seeing her “die” caused trauma.
I have far too many questions around this guy. He was in competition to be adopted which was the duke family’s doing right? How did he learn she was in the tower? Why didn’t he tell the duke? Did he tell them after and that’s the reason why they thought she was dead? Did he never tell them and that’s why they accepted the fake? I can’t tell if it’s the story writing holding things back or if it’s a translation thing that makes it more confusing than it should be. Or maybe I’m an idiot! Hard to say which sometimes
He needed adopt other guy, he did want to have his real blood mixing, at least that’s how I would have done and I believe how the author made sense to bringing other dude to this damn family as adopted one
… losing master? So, you grow up and still think of her as master? No self identification at that age? I know trauma can fuck you up, but I don’t think to the point you lose one self or not being able to be your own person?
The plot keeps getting weirder with the lore revelations but i still want to read it TvT
… since he is adamant that perry is not his child that he needed to adopt another to make her his daughter legally… he didn’t even have to adopt another son in the first place since he has 2 sons who could marry in the first place. But i get it since he probably wanted to make the relationship only family vibes so he wanted an outsider. But couldn’t he just straight up adopt her if he really wanted to! The excuses were kinda lame for me since they are builded up as a powerful family TvT But the weirdest thing is that they know where she is in the first place TvT even the adopted came there. Given their power they could do whatever they want as the author build them up but it’s very weird that they know where she is at the time they adopted him and they didnt go there to get her? The powerful duke that holds power is longing for perry that he adopted a son yet he didn’t visit her to a place even a child knows?? The “fake father” was probably below them in status so I don’t think anything would be hard for the exer family unless they are actually imcompetent… And then he left his house after his allegedly “daughter” came just because he is scared of her??? Shouldn’t he have tried to atleast rebuild the connection to make her not scared of her?? But the weirdest thing of all is i still would want to read it somehow and not drop it. XD

The 1 issue with her marrying one of his sons was that they still shared a mother.
