I don’t really agree with what the first two comments are saying
Yes she seems excessive, overbearing and silly but that they point of the story, she is the oddball of them all so technically the comedic relief
Plus the previous chapters say that she developed really self esteem from her childhood leading to her unable to believe someone could actually like her and even worse, giving up her crushes so that she sees her friends happy
You can’t really change that mentality over night so she just wants others to be happy so that she feels happy for them
It would take her a while to realise that she can be the cause of someone else happiness plus understanding that someone can actually really like her for her
If only it was affirmed during her previous life
