See i never got this mentality in manhwa or why its never addressed, in my opinion, the right way. She could be a disease-carrying rat coughing the bubonic plague on everyone and her status will still be higher than any maid in the room, so they need to watch themselves. Also from the neglectful family perspective, unless they are the ones telling the maids to abuse her (or any abusee) why don’t they do anything about it? Isn’t that an insult to the family name to have someone in the family being treated lower than the maids?
