I do feel like the prince should have spoken up sooner but it’s not solely the princes fault. The counts family moved so fast from ostracizing her, to kicking her out, to sending her to an Hersey interrogation center. The prince warned him to think before he acted and he ignored the princes word. The counts family moved faster than the imperial family meaning that they couldn’t get involved.
I don’t really know if i should blame the Prince for being this stupid and not telling the truth sooner, or the author for writing such a terrible story…
