I can’t stand these must follow the storyline bs. Everytime it happens I start to hate the webnovel. It’s blending and lazy storytelling. Write and actual reason why she can’t reveal she was sent as a spy or abused as a child. Sorry for the rant but this is like the 8th good novel I’ve fallen out with because of this shit
I think Killian has some of his mother’s kindness (despite looking a lot like his father + having a sense of fairness). While Cliff is the opposite (has his mother’s eye color but is as strong headed as his father).
That’s why he felt guilty after hearing his mother’s words, because he is actually a good person but the novel’s flow is too strong for him to overcome.
Killian already had a feeling towards edith. He’s trying to understand her. But the problem is… everytime he tried to act out of the flow of the original story, he always had a severe migraine. The only thing to do for that migraine to subside is to think that edith is bad.

The author (elise) is manipulating the whole story.
Well,… such an annoying story. I feel frustate but i understand fl’s feeling as well at the same time. It can’t help to be force to face that bad situation, ’cause she clearly love him and since she’s continue cling to him, not try to run away, she may be face more heart break moment again in the future, i guess.
I feel like the reader can just be the watcher in far dark corner and can’t do anything for this when the mc’s feeling is already decided. It’s not like the other manhwa that the fl is more firece and not yet clear for their feeling about love, i can feel that i’m be with him or her in the story, huh…
