Ok after this chapter I’ve given up on this. Dropping it. The FL is stupid. She knows what’s going to happen but she doesn’t create counter measures. Where is this story going? I’m at chapter 25 and it hasn’t gotten anywhere. The ML sucks. A lot of flavors from Kill the Villainess but there no Anakin to relieve the negativity from the male characters. They are all toxic. I just about had it with this chapter and the ludicrous maid. FL can’t say no, she has to wait for her toxic husband to make the decision?
Why do so many ppl say she’s weak? What the hell can you even do in this situation? Elize is controlling the ducal family, except Edith. I’m pretty sure even if she ran away someone will find her eventually using the Duke’s military power. Her dad and brother are using her. And remember, Edith was just a normal officer worker…she doesn’t have much survival skills coz she didn’t need them in modern world
Can only blame the fl for being weak. No point blaming the world for your misery. It’s a cruel world after all. But that thing that’s making the fl stop going against the flow is actually very annoying
