I think she did more than enough, it did seem that the curse was a bit different than in the book as it was said he cannot see anything but it was shown in one of the scenes that he can the bodies of people and everything like a shadow kinda and there was nothing about the voice. She did what she can and she was planning to stay longer to continue the treatment but didn’t have the option as her brother was coming and she was going to be imprisoned again. She has suffered much more than him overall, people can live even without sight, but she was abused all her life.
she run away cuz she failed to heal his right eyes duh, and from last chapters, u seen that she barely made it out in time before her “brother” came.
so in his perspective, it was a scam, but she has limited time and options, survival is her top priority so screw the treatment.
she made the right decision that night to run, otherwise, she will be dragged back to the earl castle’s basement.
so she did fulfill her end of the deal, it just that the curse is something more than she can handles as such, she has no choice but to run, and it was the right call lmao.
