I agree with that there should be physical flaws, especially if they have been physically abused. Bones that can’t be healed, so those are wonky and other stuff like that. I do like it that many stories don’t scare away from mental trauma (some do) but if it’s not just mental abuse – physical abuse also leaves as many marks, but to some reason magically those can be fixed with LITERAL magic or something else – but the mental trauma isn’t treated the same.
It’s weird how in Manhwa-land healthcare stuff is kinda upside down… They acknowledge mental health stuff as REAL, but physical isn’t real. And I’m not sure is that any better that way around.
“Remember! Always be pretty on cute! Don’t dare to have an acne. Never mind having physical marks from actual BEATINGS.”
You know, after reading like a hundred or more of these stories, I would like a physically flawed ML. All the ML are always flawlessly handsome, wealthy, and have a position of power or fighting to get a position of power, and of noble birth. Why not just have a permanently blind ML. Cinderella wasn’t me let me down a lot when the ML turned out just find and still found ways to save the FL from physical harm (I had liked the idea of a mute and unable to walk ML who would use his brains to assist the FL while being suepr sweet and her acting as a knight, but nope, fully capable cause god forbid there’s a physical flaw. emotionally no one cares). I already know this man’s curse will be lifted so it’s a bti disappointing.

Another Typical Fantasy Romance has a ML that is anything, but traditional handsome. He has a beard and scars on his face.
Darkcoolava
if that’s what you guys are looking for then i would recommend the series called “A typical Romance”
