   There are zero stakes and no tension or conflict in this, ever. This is a “flowery path to the top” type story, though in this case, it’s more like an express elevator with a couch and free snacks.
   There are no interpersonal conflicts, professional rivalries, or personal growth. Just an awkward guy with an extremely over powered cheat code who keeps on what he’s doing.
   Potential conflicts are completely skipped. For example, he never tells his parents. They first find out when he wins a major award. This feels like it could have been a Thing, but they haven’t come up again in the 60+ chapters I’ve read so far. His friends and coworkers are all supportive, not jealous, and everyone admires him and wants to do better in his presence.
   Potential limitations on his ability are smudged out. The original set up is that he perfectly embodies a selected character from a script, and is unaware of himself when he does so. This would have left opening to explore such as him being unable to go off-script, going way too far while possessed, having to handle imperfect co-actors with a different vision of the scene, and what happens if there are issues with the script. But this is all kind of blurred out and basically now, if he reads a script, he can act it out. No limits. And he permanently gains special abilities of the characters, again without limits, so he can use these skills at any time in regular life.

   What keeps this from being a Gary Stu slog and wins all the readers over is the humor. Our main character is a dork. He shuts down when stressed and freezes when nervous. But everyone sees his outward weirdness as him being oh-so-cool, and admire his taciturn calm, while we watch him screaming in the inside. It is pretty funny and light and refreshing.

   This one is an excellent “comfort story” where you don’t want to feel bad or stressed, just lightly entertained, and you’ll love it for its familiarity as you reread the similar story loops. Perfect for a bad day where you just want a familiar warm bath if a story, instead of an anxiety-ratcheting roller coaster.

   So so so so so so so so good! Its different than most manhwas I’ve been reading so it’s like a breath of fresh air. The misunderstandings are absolutely hilarious! I love the scenes where he is acting! 10/10!!!!

    This is a really good acting manhwa, definitely a 10/10. My only issue with it is the slow pacing. What I mean is, in acting manhwa, I really enjoy the parts where the MC is performing in a film and blows everyone away with his talent. Then, once the film is released, the media and fans go wild praising him. That’s the part I find most exciting. While this manhwa does include those moments, it takes a while to get to them. I wish there were more time skips or more frequent scenes of the MC acting and showing off his “cheat” skills. The scenes where he’s just meeting directors or chatting with coworkers kind of bore me. Maybe it’s my short attention span, but the MC acting in film scenes are by far the most interesting to me. Don’t get me wrong, those other storytelling do contribute to the plot, but I just wish the story focused more on the MC acting in films, in my opinion, that’s the highlight of the entire manhwa😅
