@Feyren, She can’t really go with him. She wants to trample upon those people who killed her. For doing so she needs the power and position which can only be given by her grandfather (that’s why she is working so hard to get his favour), leaving now means leaving everything behind, giving them many chances to struck her with no counter attack. If she gets a position which will not be hindered even if she leaves only then she can leave.
