But he wants Elena to keep it as secret because if the duke know where the found it, it would be dangerous. Btw, finding the gem thingy was kept secret from Elena , he apologised to her later, but Elena was fine with it. Like it does make sense at the same time on why he can accompany her. She’s a smart lady
