I agree with @KittenBee the ML needs a bit of character development and more writing and the FL is really good. Nice plot imo , i feel like the emperor was someone who needed love (not defending the actions he did) and honestly he’s just dumb? And the female concubine just redeemed herself at the end by *spoiler* but its a really good story, if u like remarried empress it’s for you. (Not necessarily) Recommended. (8,5/10)

It’s a really good love story with a good pace (imho). Great FL, ML is also nice (but I think he really needs a little more to his character) and the antagonists, well, at first they really make you feel sick but the end you feel nothing but pity to them (especially concubine) which is not typical for such a plot. After all they were just humans who didn’t get enough love and that’s what turned them into monsters.
