First, how could the FL express how she feels if her own husband is looking at her with cold eyes. And the guy seriously got a problem. Is it that he couldn’t see the those aristocracts bastards reactions at the party and how they made the FL feels or he just doesn’t care. I think He doesn’t care. Cause if he does, he will told the FL that he cares for her. That would have give her some assurance.
