Come to think of it, Raymond is not that kind of a bad ML. Not like the ex-husband of Navier in Remarried empress. Raymond went through a lot that he lose his happiness and turn into a coldblooded person. The divorce happened because he was not straight to the point that his ex would not be a royal but only his son(who he sees as himself and he loves the kid but is willing to let him go for the sake of FL. And I think he would not let him be part of the royal family if FL tell him she’s pregnant. Ok for short it’s all because of a misunderstanding and ML lacking as a husband.
