She hasn’t let the ppl who slighted her back in her orbit if she can help it and her interactions with the ML is him facilitating her interest in literature and art by giving her recommendations and the space to process. The ML himself is interesting enough and pretty likeable. It’s actually really amazing how much info is packed into so few chapters without feeling overwhelming so it’s def a recommended read
