She wants revenge on her husband, but honestly it’s really just petty at this point. The more crazy she gets the crazier he gets. No one gets a happy ending, there is bad behavior from very flawed people, and you will cry frustrated tears of blood at all the things our poor main character endures.
It’s not for everyone, hence the rating.
But the story is well told and the characters nuanced and well constructed with all the messy, conflicting, complicated emotions of actual humans.

So I’m going to disagree with the comments. This is a good story. The villainess tag actually belongs on this. This is a character’s pure descent into madness. She is a victim of abuse who eventually snaps. She doesn’t get a break and she does start bringing some misfortune on herself. Someone says in the comments her actions aren’t rational. And that’s the point. She isn’t rational. She’s going crazy. If you look at her actions on an emotional level. They make sense. The ML is garbage. Like the most absolute garbage. And he is the reason why she descends into madness, intentional or not, and he is a mass of contradictions, ego, and choosing to be oblivious and rationalizes bad behavior. And that is also the point. From what I read, this is not intended to be a romance. (the person who wrote the comment of it being a trash romcom is wrong. There is nothing funny in this story and definitely isn’t a romance). I don’t know if they’ll end up together. She has been severely damaged and I don’t think he’s done a single redeeming thing, only escalated. And that’s a good thing. If you read this, you won’t want them together and I don’t think that’s the intention. This isn’t a romance. It’s vengeance. The ML may develop some feelings, but at this point, I think here is too much bad blood for anything to be fixed, because the list of hurt, abuse, neglect is long. He isn’t haunted, but she is.
Minor spoiler: There is a character that says “Why must I live in misery and you get to be happy? But I will put on a performance of a lifetime and pretend to love you. I hope you fall in love soon. I will be an obstacle in your love, so it grows stronger, so I can take her from you as you took away my lover, and make you suffer as I have suffered.” If that doesn’t tell you what story you are in for, I don’t know what will.

Also there’s very little to no romance in this series except for like 4 chapters but it doesn’t count tbh and I stopped at episode 48 so it’s not close to completed I can tell and there’s no chemistry between fl and her fiance (as u can see I didn’t say ml cs friick him and his indecisive self) it’s almost like there’s no ml but overall once there’s more chapters I feel like this is a good series to binge read if u can handle it and if rage reading ws a thing this would be a good one imo

This manhwa is pure angst. Every character suffers, because of past and present events. Romance is practically non-existent and reader stops even wanting it because ML is total garbage. What’s worse FL is a victim of abuse, but she has such an annoying character and often behaves irrationally that it’s very hard to feel even a little sympathy for her. This is definitely manhwa only for people with unusual taste.
PS. If you have started reading and find it a little bit boring, but you really want to keep reading then after 15 or 16 chapter you can jump to the 30, you will not lose anything and there it starts to get more interesting.
