Looking at it from plot writing perspective, the whole pouring of water to the mistress and giving her a dress as compensation is not fitting the narrative of the story. I think the webtoon fail to properly convey the novel plot set up. Iirc the novel only say mc act as if she accidentally pour her drinks on the dress, not the whole throwing the whole drinks and splashing it all over the mistress dress and face.
