I am consoling myself by imaging that if this dude just flat out murdered her, he’d go to prison, because she noble and there are consequences. And if he didn’t go to prison, her parents would start a territorial war, which the country leader may back up if he wanted to squash this guy, and tons of his people would die. And even if none of that happened, his bumpkin wife would be shunned as having to marry a psychopath, because no one would marry him after he slaughtered his fiancee like that and she couldn’t get anyone better that a killer with her status.
So he’s a cheater AND a murderer? Straight up slitting someone’s throat is murder. And somehow SO much more brutal than having some third party poison someone. Throw that whole man away.
