Even though the duke doesnt get violent anymore, i still wont feel any sympathy towards him just bc hes getting sick. Abusing ur child physically and mentally, sending him off to war, blaming him for someone’s death, etc. Hes still an asshole. Until the day hes on his knees, asking for forgiveness, I’ll still have grudge against him.
