I’m not sure if the mother drew the painting to show that her son is a monster. I feel like she drew it because she couldn’t forget what happened. We will obviously think that the duke’s pov of why she drew it is the reason but we will never really know the reason behind the painying. I’m not in anyone’s side, just sharing my opinion
At first, I thought his mother is a kind woman, but now it seems that his mother is not a good person either, Who in their right mind would paint their own child as a monster. That’s just awful. So I don’t pity her anymore. No matter what, the kids are innocent and as an adult you should never blame the kids.
