I really would find it sad that I can’t or couldn’t hug my parents or friends. It’s like soooo good to do!!!! It’s really strange but interesting to see this cultural shock, and it’s adorable too to see. I can’t lie
@Itianys ya east Asians almost never show affection like that I RARELY hugged my parents growing up and even now I can’t even imagine huging them tbh if it’s not like a special occasion. BUT now that I’m married into a Latin family it was a culture shock for me to say the least. Good but new.
I find it very strange that Koreans find it so strange to hug your family or call your friends and close people by name. In my culture, Latin American, it is very normal to show affection. Although I can somewhat understand the background of their culture, I think they take things too far.
