I dropped this around chapter 20 or I don’t like how the fl is *preparing* for divorce before the marriage she’s also taking birth control in secret it’s nothing wrong with taking birth control but if you do it in secret it will just create a misunderstanding later.
I also don’t like ml he just goes along with whatever his father says most of the time

First chapters are such a mess.
She knows that duke doesn’t like her, so she forces a marriage onto his son by asking emperor for granting you that as a wish.
And when asked why, she says it’s because she loves him.
And ML just accepts it with zero questions.

I’m a little anxious leaving the first review but here goes. Read the first 19 chapters posted, and I definitely feel invested. It looks like all the characters are smart. I really like FL so far. She’s trying to implement her plan and it’s going well I think with a reasonable amount of push and pull. I like the ML bc he doesn’t immediately trust her but he still treats her well. He is kind of an ice block like the title says but judging from what we know so far, it will likely play into his arc. For now, it does lead to misunderstanding between, but it’s reasonable and makes sense imo. Their relationship dynamic is interesting and leaves room for growth while not being overly romantic immediately despite them getting married pretty quickly (which is also surprising considering it’s not a contract marriage). Overall, I’m looking forward to seeing how things progress with the MC, ML, the characters around them and the plot.
