For those complaining in the comments i feel like most of you guys don’t understand that this world lacks empathy and human kindness, this has been shown multiple times throughout the manhua.

Ex: the blue haired nobleman they were full on ready to kill Shirone for being friends with the youngest master and didn’t even spare him any empathy except for the daughter but she was curious about him the other son didn’t give 2 shits about him and so on

another example is that throughout the novel people describe empathy and human kindness as something new and weird in fact a lot of learnjng curbs Shirone had was because he didn’t have enough empathy

What i’m trying to say is this world isn’t kind in the slightest Shirone is way too kind for the world he lives in so understand that the empathy you see in this novel is rare
They were about to bury Shirone before they really knew whether he was dead or not. Even though he had sacrificed his life for them. All I can say is that even dogs know how to be grateful, while they don’t.
