It’s another one of those cliche manhwas where the weak, innocent, and helpless fl falls for the red flag ml who is obsessive towards her. I am also very sorry but the art style has also deteriorated as the chapters go on. I get that people have worked hard on making this manhwa but I really don’t like this.

Summary of the summary: This is the usual case of stockholm/ kidnapping troupe where the fl is super duper innocent and cute while the ml is a possessive- walking red flag who imprisoned the fl because she’s quote “interesting”. The fl came from rags so she’s new to this kinda treatment making her cry… alot. It feels a little cringe everytime she starts crying but I mean sure, do your thing ig. The ml is a god (demi) who is also a prince in their kingdom in heaven-is what they’re giving, and I’m unsure as to why they even favor the demigod ml since I dropped this faster than the fl’s crying fits.

The ml is drop dead gorgeous so I doubt I could warn anyone when I say he looks like he’s suffering with lots of trauma (in short, mentally unstable guy who power trips the fl) .The art is very sparkly and pretty. The plot is idk since I only read up to ch 10 but it sounds okayish. I reccomend reading this for the art and the discovery of the plot that I never found. 6/10

They aren’t wrong. ML and FL are the same exact skin color. If it was lighting, she would also look darker on the cover. What is ‘basic’ is a manhwa artist taking characters who have darker skin and making them white.
As for the story, I still hate it.

Cover is a lie. The ML is so pale. Not the pretty tan on the cover. Honestly, he looks like or Korean pop idol which I don’t really find attractive because they’re too pale like they’ve never seen the sun. I am curious so I’ll keep reading though.

Pass for me. Hard to root for a ML whose obsession with FL makes her want to kill herself. Just left me feeling grossed out. At least he’s starting to realize she needs hobbies outside of eating, sleeping and waiting for him I guess??
