So what does this mean? Well the two most likely scenarios in my opinion would be… 1. The sister formed a contract with a high level spirit king when she was really young and got possessed by it because she could not handle the power. The spirit was malignant and wanted the body for itself. Recognizing that Alisa also had the potential to see spirits it decided to get rid of her and get her killed so that she wouldn’t figure out what was going on and stop it. This is my preferred scenario and one that would be rather refreshing. However a far more likely scenario is probably… 2. The sister made a contact with a spirit and then used the spirit to charm everyone in the family. Alisa was originally loved but using brainwashing she made everyone start hating her… and then in the end after framing her she used the power in order make it so that nobody believed Alisa. The reason? Jealousy… and possibly that she wasn’t even part of the royal family but just a fake. Seeing as how 99% of all stories of this nature are like this… I believe this one will also opt for the predictable, boring and overused “jealousy” plot instead of actually daring to be at least a little bit different. Sad.
