   My review on it (I stopped at ch30):

   The plot so far feels very floaty. It has a general direction, which is; Oh! My love, the Prince, broke up with me! so instead of crying over it, I will focus on myself and my magical abilities instead of obsessing over the onesided love I had for him. And YAY! that’s what we got! But it’s literally just that. No internal conflict with FMC over her breakup (the pacing of the whole annulment did not help) or any conflict between the two to make it engaging or interesting for the readers. I GUESS there was a scene where they hug platonically and he acknowledges and apologizes that he hurt her for not loving her back romantically, but it was such a bland scene that it doesn’t really matter AT ALL. Realistically, hugging it out with your ex and staying friends is a good outcome. Story-wise though, it’s just so fucking boring. This story wants to be a “Super cool magic fantasy fight the bad guys and get cool spells and stuff while also meeting cool and cute people on my road to becoming a powerful mage, with romantic subplot!!!”, but falls short of it because of the lack of conflict and character narratives, or because it wants EVERYONE to just GET ALONG and GOOD, and be HAPPY YAY!!!!! And the pacing isn’t all that fun either… Art is nice, but it’s not enough to make me stay unfortunately. The summary really fooled me 😔

   Just my honest opinion, you can read it if you want, but personally, I woudn’t recommend. If someone wishes to make a rebuttal against my review, you’re welcome to ^_^!

   I feel like they shouldn’t have started the story off with the broken engagement so that the first 10+ chapters don’t feel like a slog to get through since everyone knows the inevitable outcome. If they had started out with their childhood then progressed to the breakup, it would have been more impactful imho. The story after that is ok; I wish they would actually commit to the title and not have a male lead, but from the summary I have a feeling the ML will still be her ex-fiancé (aka the blond guy).

   Theres just no story here….13 chapters is just the childhood filter of the FL and blonde dude? And like they both suck? He strings her along and afterwards she…becomes an amazing wizard basically overnight Mary Sue style? I’m not really sure where the story is trying to go tbh…between the bad translation and constant rotations of side characters I’m lost. Would not recommend.

   I love this manwha. N you might like it too, if you give it a chance. At the start its pretty boring and people will start to drop it. But if you just be patient and go a bit further into the story, it starts to get really good i promise.
