so am I to guess that he isnt really that bad but was a dumb fuck who couldnt stand up to his father and thus let him do as he pleased as he was planing his death behind the scene, he will say he loved her and maybe he tried to help her in her past life but was stopped by something (most likely stupid) like in so many other stories in this page
