i kinda understand her, he is a prime suspect(he matches perfectly with the descriptions, I’d think it was him too) but since hes only a SUSPECT, he is not exactly guilty of anything, she should not only spend time investigating him but also others that description. She should doubt herself with things like this since novels LOVE a good plot twist. I’m not blaming her but she shouldn’t be sure of herself, it could be anyone.

Em, guys? Murder is said to be man above 180 cm, very physically capable. And with him being prime suspect in the original, why would she guess someone else? She don’t just slander him, she’s trying to find evidence
Yeah I kinda got the hint that our MC didn’t quite know all the details she read about the novel before. Or else she would’ve used the knowledge or known who’s the killer and why these events occurred
