I was thinking the same thing, the mom probably developed feelings for FL’s dad because he helped her probably due to his wife. She killed FL’s mom with these herbs to become his second wife but FL’s dad never loved her back. I’d be awkward if Answer and her were related 😭😭😭

I read that – she is not the son of count or related to FL – she was daughter of the close aid of count who died in the battle saving count. But her mother in between started to rely on the count and developed feelings for him. And went mad in loneliness wanted to be part of the count family – same madness passed down to daughter.
