I wouldn’t quite condemn it like one of the comments suggests, and it gets part of it wrong. She’s no-one’s baby making machine. They’re trying to go against that system which is part of the point.
The summary (up to ch 9):
Ml loves fl but their engagement gets broken off when her family goes into debt and can’t afford a dowry and feels like it’d be undignified to gain status through this marriage and not be bringing anything to the table. Ml doesn’t have a say in this and doesn’t really get a chance to protest.
So he goes to his crown Prince bestie. They have a weird concubine system here where those in line for the throne take concubines because they have to prove they can produce an heir in order to inherit, also first concubine teaches them about bedroom activities, but concubines children don’t inherit so they need to already be married (so any children fall under their husband’s household) which is the weird part. I mean, isn’t the point of a concubine usually to have heirs? Anyway, Prince doesn’t like the system but is stuck with it. He wants to abolish it altogether and only ever be with his future wife. Soo ml knowing this is like hey, my ex fiance who I love is trying to get married but won’t marry me because of dignity/pride and you need a concubine who won’t really be your concubine. Make her your concubine, she needs to be married in order to do that so have her marry me, and then it solves everyone’s problem! I get to marry the woman I love, she’s taken care of and gets the heir she wants, and you get to pretend to go along with the whole concubine thing while saving yourself for your wife. Win win win.
Just saying irl that’s kind of how things work. You have to figure out how to make what you want work while jumping through all the hoops to work within the system, and it’s really satisfying when you find a solution that solves all the problems at once. So that was pretty cathartic 😆
TLDR: it’s pretty good. Give it a try and see what you think. It’s only 9 chapters so far so not a huge time investment to check it out.

I like reading this, but to be honest, it’s not romantic.
When we really think about the plot:
Instead of fighting to change laws, the ML traps FL to be his baby making machine. She is allowed to only have his babies when she is trying to get an heir to her family.
Nothing about changing laws that women can inherit the title.

My review is still valid despite someone saying it’s not. Those men just did the whole thing because the law was a bit inconvenient to them, but still nothing about the fact how women must suffer and making babies stays as normal point. Instead even a mention of letting women inherit or having rights.
The only thing I change after reading new chapters 7-9 that I don’t like to read this anymore… I liked it because it was an interesting take and super realistic about how men’s world is and how they think solution is… FL was surviving on that, non-romantic world, but at chapter 7 it seems that she lost all the braincells and rock is more intelligent than her. She ain’t even that emotional, so rock is better at emotions too.

It’s good and interesting storyline 😉😜😁
