So far, each woman she’s interacted with in these trials have been some sort of otherworlder, or at least have had some knowledge of the future. Estelle was a transmigrator who went into a novel, Chloe, while not outright stated, may have been a regressor, and was sent back after dying when she found out about her husband’s infidelity (which is why she knew about Lydia’s trial), and finally, another transmigrator, Lydia. In Lydia’s case, she either transmigrated into a visual novel game or an otome game, considering all the people she’s involved with atm (right now it’s 3: two duchy sons and the crown prince). It’s curious, though, cause it seems her memory/mental state is reset after each “episode” or plot point she’s involved in, but retains knowledge of what will happen in the game’s future, which is a strange but welcome twist to the trope.
Lastly, it also seems quite curious how all of these otherworlders keep surrounding Natasha, even though she is not an otherworlder. From Lydia’s dialogue here, Natasha wasn’t originally involved in this plotline at all and is an outlier, unless the plot of the game isn’t exactly super rigid due to being placed in the same world as Estelle’s novel and Chloe’s future. If all these different manhwa isekai tropes are coming together, could Natasha be applied to this as well?
I know from her perspective it’s fanatical but I wish she would pick up on how two of her clients gave her vague warnings about the future and now this new girl saying sus things. From there, reach out to her old clients and ask if they understand what’s going on a little bit
Ok, I really love this outside view of a regressor. From their own point of view, they always seem so normal and like they’re pulling everything off, but it makes sense that, to an outsider, they’d actually be coming across as kind of strange and always mentioning small things that haven’t happened yet as they get mixed up. And, of course, the apathy that comes from knowing everything .
