Have y’all not read the actually story properly? The kid was always a girl! Alexandra! Her full name was shown when she was born. She was addressed as “she, her” in the story. But her fam and close people called her with shorter form Alec. Also the daughter always dreamed of becoming a knight despite being a girl, and never wore dresses because pants were more comfortable for her. But literally in the last chapter she was wearing a dress because of an official ball 🤦🏻♀️ (she was not having it, but others found a solution and made her wear pants underneath to make her feel more comfy).
