@Spikemin Well it’s ture qhe’s got a complex and interesting personality. She plans to do everything for her own sake only, but she’s so sensitive about injustice she can’t stop herself from lashing out for the sake of others.
It looks like learning about her possible future has made her more sensitive to other people’s true personality, made her stop trying to pitifully get to their goods sides, and at the same realize there are others than her suffering the same injust treatment and sympathize without even noticing…
It looks like she has suddenly matured like if she had lived another life and regressed, even though she didn’t. Chances are high she won’t be able to sacrifice someone for her health in the end, and she’ll ghenuinely ally with her little half sister when she’ll rise in power.
In fact, her strong sense of responsibilities makes her the obvious better choice to succeed her father, and her sister’s powerful magic could actually become an asset if she would associate with her rather than antagonize her.
I like she’s more of an anti hero, not knowing how it feels to protect and help others and not hesitating to hurt those of indirectly interferes with her plans.
