   Ik im talking about other manhwas… but like the other comment here said.. not the first toxic ML manhwa. I think it varies from types.
   ML’s that genuinely had no malice to the FL but still fcked up (like winter in “what it means to be you”)
   MLs that were a coward who didnt wanna hurt the FL yet hurt her cas “he had no balls to choose another choice” Or thought what he is doing is to protect the FL even if he hurts her in another way (empress of the ashes, duchess of the glass greenhouse)
   Inferiority complex+drugs (abandoned empress)
   “I simply cant trust you are on my side cas u sus” + the daughter of the man who killed his parents kidnapped him and killed his first love and only friend (I sometimes wished you were dead) ps: i still think it was really well written. Regardless of how uncomfortable some contents were like the rape and all… it was… really well written in both perspectives.
   Simply a trash man (mistress runs away) ps: idk why i even read this? ML deserved no second chance he aint even groveled 😭 FL was dumb dumb for accepting him later on and not cheating on him
   There were more “hiding the emperor’s child” “i will have no regrets” “i will not get executed the second time”? There were some weird names and some MLs were absolute trash one used to rape women then kill them until he met the FL…but from all those toxic sht iv read I honestly feel only two-three were well written. “What it means to be you” “i wish you were dead” “if you wish for my despair” even that i kiss the devil (?) manhua was good. And i doubt this would be good…. there was another one too i suck at names… it was a chinese manhua tho.

   I think at one point i broke after reading too much angst… i wouldnt be able to handle it anymore..welp. It still doesn’t seem bad like the ones iv read but its pretty much triggering atp eventho i like angst i feel empty when the ML suffers no consequence for the pain he’s given and get a happy ending? I could read angst if there’s an appropriate revenge and she finally leaves him like what happened in “if you wish for my despair” it was such a rare read. Cas i loved how she hated him and that she’d rather die even if she started to love him. One sided angst is just abuse lol. And its sick how normalized and its romanticized to forgive ur abusive partners cas they feel sorry after uv given up??? Even “there were times i wish you were dead” i didnt hate the ML too much cas i could see his perspective cas FL would seem sus (due to the magic constraints on her) i could understand and see perspectives but its bitter how some MLs are just jerks and asshole and their trauma somehow validates their abuse to another victim???

    This manhwa is the best manhwa I’d ever read in my entire life which female lead’s life is miserable and fragile.
