The person below this comment is a rude chicken nugget because they think the ML is ‘pathetic’. Clearly he is not and since a small age, he had been called a monster and his parents died and left him to protect Halstead by himself…he had to fight against demons and evil creatures and had a huge burden to carry. Honestly People don’t understand how much he is suffering with burden of protecting Halstead and keeping his loved ones safe (including the contract of keeping fl safe). To be honest I would find it EXTREMELY HARD on myself to protect an entire castle and everyone in it from demons only when I’m 15..not everyone can do that. People should understand that the ML suffered too. He is trying to keep Fl safe by divorcing her because he thinks he is pathetic when he really isn’t. He is a good person and he really tries to keep people safe.
