Ahhh, i think the reason i dislike the ml was solidified the moment when, a few chapters back, he forcefully kissed her without consent and then made that comment about her being his bed partner, even though it was apparent that she was uncomfortable/wanted him to leave. That was the ultimate ick for me. Like, ok. I get he has a grudge against her family (valid) but there was absolutly no reason for him to have done that. No sane half respectable man uses sexual violence (though mild it have been) regardless of his feelings.
