He didn’t hate the FL at all, All he was to her was suspicious and just cautious. Thats why he ignored her and he truly didnt knew about his aunt being a blooper, I think u forgot but she is from a family who murdered his family like hello….it would make sense why he distanced himself. Imagine loving or being nice to a wife who came from a family who killed your sibling and parents also wanted you dead but survived with trauma, no support. Small age and sp much duties and the only hope to your land (lineage and own people) the amount of burden the ML HAS AND the trauma as well as loneliness. The only family he have is aunt who helped him where he is and then suddenly u are married to a woman who is from a shameless and disgusting murderer family💀💀
It’s just my hunch, but it could be that Lily’s oldest brother did make her husband lost his memory, and maybe made him doting on her, too. In the hope that he would do anything for Lily, and Lily would obidiently do what the big bro tell her to do. But then Lily disobey him. Then one day the duke got his memory back, and it would be overlapped with the new memories of his fondness towards Lily, and that would cause him a dilemma. And the things that Lily has done lately would make him doubt his old sentiments.
Well so far that is the most possible plot IMO.
