Hey, at least she’s trying to be a better mom, even if it required some sort of magical time reset. Some of us with the worst sort of parents never get that much and at least this baby girl doesn’t remember all the awful things that were going to happen in the future.
@Hyra33 In the other timeline the mother married off her daughter to an old man and sided with nobles against the emperor and crown prince . Of course the emperor wasn’t going to let it slide. FL died because of her moms actions. I know the mom is trying to do better but she did tell her daughter she wished she was never born, abused her and took her money etc. That’s not something that can be easily be overlooked.
I like the emperor more than the mom. She was horrible to the FL for so long it’s hard to get past that eventhough she’s trying to change now. But the emperor is so sweet with Lilly it’s just so adorable.
