All of this is tottally unreal. Let’s consider ml being a high noble, who are these people to say anything about his love affairs? On top of that, it was said FL is daughter of a baron. That alone, money or not makes her noble and the villagers are still commoners. They have no legal right to even comment on their relationship. In what universe do commoners dictate nobles how to live – that is not how caste society ever works… This makes it really hard to connect to the story. Also. The name suggests the child’s point of view and she is hardly ever present or much relevant to the story. The only attention paid to her by her father are toys, and first mention in the story is of mother intercepting with this so we do not know how the child treats the ml after their first meeting and her existence does not seem to mean more to him than a proof that his lover was faithfull to him. I will not even comment on fl’s decision making, however, when you inform the father of him having a child, you should be prepared to respect his rights to the child as a parent.
